VOLUNTEER.
We enable volunteers to become part of our projects in Kenya, located in Turkana and Kwale County.
In Turkana, volunteers support initiatives that empower girls and women through education and mentorship. In Kwale, volunteers contribute to improving school infrastructure and architecture, strengthening education and teaching, or supporting health and medical outreach.
We believe that education and health are the foundation for empowering young people in disadvantaged communities. By volunteering, you become part of a shared journey of impact, growth and reflection — while developing your own leadership skills and global perspective.
LEADERSHIP.
Another Kind of Leadership is a series of events such as conferences, after-works or book clubs for young professionals to reflect on their values, potential and responsibility.
Why? Because we believe that the world needs leaders who make ethical and inclusive decisions. Leaders who make a difference in their workplace and in society in general.
Our STORY.
In January 2023, Christina (Strathmore University, Nairobi) and Raquel (based in Munich) were introduced by their mutual friend Victoria. The three share a passion for education and social impact, and dreamed about a project that would bring together women from around the world to create a better future for girls and women in marginalized areas.
In December 2023 we kicked-off the first international edition of “Another Kind of Christmas”, an educational camp organized by Strathmore University. Since then 40+ volunteers from 8 countries have joined us in Turkana.
Since 2024 we are running “Another Kind of Leadership” events in Munich, Nairobi and online to continue our journey of development, beyond Christmas and our volunteering experience in Turkana.
“Another Kind of Future” encompasses both our volunteering and leadership projects. It is a platform for women who strive for ideals beyond themselves and want to grow on a personal level through service, education and shared experiences.
